PICKLEBALL INSTRUCTION CONTINUES TO GROW AT SCPC

This past season was an incredible step forward for the Pickle Smart Academy at SCPC. The energy at the courts, the growth of our players, and the sense of community around the academy exceeded all expectations. From newer players developing their shots and strategy to advanced players sharpening their competitive game, it was amazing to see so much progress happening every week.

A huge part of that success has been the vision, leadership, and dedication of Kevin Duff, who leads and created the Pickle Smart Academy. Kevin has worked incredibly hard to build a positive, organized, and high-level training environment that represents what SCPC is all about – improvement, community, and passion for the game.

We are very happy to announce that Sara Bochte, an instructor from Arizona who many members may remember from previous clinics at SCPC, will now also be teaching at the club alongside Kevin. This collaboration has been organized under Kevin’s leadership and oversight as Club Pro, helping continue the long-term growth and sustainability of the academy while providing additional support during the busy winter season.

Sara brings great energy, experience, and passion for teaching, and we believe she will be a fantastic addition to the academy and SCPC community. Kevin and Sara are excited to work together to continue elevating the level of pickleball instruction at SCPC. 🙌

Private Pickleball Lessons with Kevin Duff

We are privileged to have Kevin Duff leading the academy program at our club. A passionate pickleball player and instructor for over a decade, Kevin is known for his commitment to the evolution of the game and for teaching innovative strategies. Kevin is an IPTPA Level 2 Certified Instructor and one of only two IPTPA Directors in Mexico. Along with his pickleball expertise, he brings a deep understanding of sports performance, injury prevention, and teaching methodology, supported by academic degrees in Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, and Public Health.

Elevate your game with our Pickleball Lessons and Workshops

Improve your pickleball skills this season with instruction from our very own pickleball teaching pro, Kevin Duff. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro, the game is evolving and there’s always new skills to develop and strategies to learn. Elevate your game with pickleball lessons, workshops, drill sessions and video assessments!

• Lessons: Schedule a private lesson for yourself or a group lesson for you and your friends. Price: Private (one person) 1,200 pesos/hour; Semi-private (two people) 800 pesos/person/hour; Semi-private (three people) 600 pesos/person/hour: Group (four to eight people) 500 pesos/person/hour.
• Workshops: Book a private two-hour group workshop focused on a variety of themes: Movement and Positioning, The Power Game, The Soft Game, Beating Bangers, Midcourt Mastery, Skinny Singles, Targeting and Stacking. Workshops require a minimum of four and a maximum of eight participants. Price: 350 pesos/person.
• Drill Sessions: Playing pickleball is fun but it’s not always the best way to refine your skills. Drilling is a way to focus on specific skills and get more repetitions than you would by playing games alone. Private drill sessions can be booked for a minimum of six and a maximum of sixteen participants. Price: 100 pesos/person/hour.
• Video Assessment: A video assessment is the perfect way to better understand what you’re doing well and areas of your game you could improve. During the assessment, you’ll be video recorded (using artificial intelligence Swing Vision© software) while playing games for approximately one hour. Price: 1,500 pesos.
