We’re happy to announce that the round robin (renamed Tactica Tuesdays, tactic translates to tactics/strategy) now has online registration! San Carlos Pickleball Club members register using Court Reserve and non-members should contact the organizer (Kevin Duff, +52 622 147 2979) to register. Please see the following information below for additional details regarding registration and Court Reserve.

Format: Tactica Tuesdays is a round robin – ladder hybrid (tactica translates to tactics/strategy). You’re assigned to a group of players according to your skill level. Within your group you play a rotating-partner round robin (one game with each player in your group). At the end of the round robin, the top performing players move up a group and the bottom performing players move down a group. Everyone then plays a second round robin with their new groups. If you’re looking to play a healthy dose of competitive games with a variety of players at your skill level then Tactica Tuesdays is the event for you! If you’re new to Tactica Tuesdays then we will request some information from you to place you in the appropriate group. Returning players are assigned to groups based on their past results.

Organizer: The Tactica Tuesday Round Robin is organized by Kevin Duff, the San Carlos Pickleball Club Teaching Pro. Kevin can be reached by phone, text message or WhatsApp message at +52 622 147 2979.

Communications: Start times, results, and all round robin related communications are shared in the Tactica Tuesday Round Robin WhatsApp group. Please contact the organizer to be added to the WhatsApp group.

When: Every Tuesday unless otherwise noted. There are multiple start times according to “waves” players are assigned to. The first wave starts at 6PM. Your specific start time will be communicated to you in the WhatsApp group. Each player should expect to play for approximately 2.5 hours.

Price: 100 pesos for members, 150 pesos for non-members.

Registration: Members register and pay online using Court Reserve. You can download the Court Reserve phone application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you are unsure of your Court Reserve username and/or password then the organizer will provide it for you. Non-members register by contacting the organizer and pay with cash onsite. Registration for each round robin starts at 10PM on the Tuesday prior to the round robin (i.e. after the previous week’s round robin finishes).

Cancellation policy: Individuals cancelling before 6PM on the Monday before the round robin (24 hours or more before the start of the event) will not be refunded their entry fee but will be credited 100 pesos for a future round robin. Individuals cancelling after this time will not receive a refund nor will be credited for a future round robin.
