Learn to be a Referee
Are you interested in learning how to ref pickleball games?
We’ll be offering lessons on Thursday, December 14 at 1:00pm at Mirador Courts. For those who came last Thursday, this is Part 2 of the training. For those who are coming for the first time, you’ll get caught up quickly.
Even if you’re not sure if you’d ever want to ref a game, give it a try … it will help you learn more about the rules of the game. If you’re injured and can’t currently play, this is a great way to stay in the game.
Please email Sue at suefehrle@gmail.com if you are interested in learning how to be a referee.
Franklin X balls for sale
The Club has purchased Franklin X balls which we are selling to players at cost. Each ball is 30 pesos. The Franklin X balls tend to last longer and are more durable than the Dura Fast 40, but they may still crack over time or with very hard hits.
We will use the Franklin X balls for the Sombrero Showdown and Amigos Cup tournament in February, in case you’d like to start practicing with them. If you want us to hold some aside for you, please email Sue at suefehrle@gmail.com.
