To celebrate the 2026 KICK OFF CUP TOURNAMENT, all players who register by January 5 will receive a personalized, full-color commemorative SCPC 2026 magnetic name tag.

Recap of recent events
These past weeks have given us so many moments to celebrate — starting with the kickoff of the Pickle Smart Academy season, the Skechers Tournament, and the exciting weekly play that is quickly filling up as the season ramps up. We also cherished the opportunity to share joy with children through our outreach program, celebrate our award nomination, and of course, enjoy our beloved Posada.
Each moment reminds us that SCPC is about much more than pickleball — it’s about community. As we step into 2026, we do so with pride in how far we’ve come and excitement for what’s ahead. The foundation is strong, the community continues to grow, and the best is still yet to come.

Pickle Smart Academy Welcome Party
A good time was had by all at the Pickle Smart Academy welcome party. 🎉

Skechers Tournament
Great tournament vibes at the Grand Finale of the Skechers Pickleball Tour 2025 in San Carlos! We’re proud to have hosted this incredible event and even prouder of our amazing pickleball community.

San Carlos Pickleball Christmas Posada
That was a Party! 🎉🎄 Over 120 people attended our San Carlos Pickleball Christmas Posada—what an incredible night! Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so special. A big shout-out to Sue Fehrle and all the amazing volunteers and organizers who brought it all together.

Sharing Joy Outreach program
It’s been an active and rewarding month for our outreach program. We were honored to once again support the La Manga fishing community during their kids’ Christmas Posada, sharing joy through gifts. Thanks to the generosity of our members, every child’s was sponsored, and each child received a gift — mission accomplished! ✨
Our volunteers also hosted a Christmas Posada for the Monday Kids Pickleball Program, complete with a BBQ, big smiles, and a Christmas tree for children from the orphanage.
The Social Impact Kids Pickleball Program is a beautiful addition to the club’s legacy. It wouldn’t be possible without the facility we’ve all built together. Sharing our favorite sport with young children makes it even more meaningful and helps create a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Cero Cero 2 Awards
With great pride, last month the San Carlos Pickleball Club was nominated for Best Pickleball Club, and our dear Mariana Fortes was nominated for Female Pickleball Player of the Year. These nominations were part of the first-ever pickleball awards created by Cero Cero Dos, a Mexican pickleball brand from Mexico City, to celebrate and recognize the best of our sport in 2025. Voting opened to the public to nominate athletes and favorite clubs, after which the top five most-voted nominees advanced to the final round. Thanks to your support, we’re proud to share that San Carlos Pickleball Club earned second place, finishing just behind the host club in Mexico City, and that our beloved Mariana Fortes took first place in her category.
We are incredibly proud of Mariana—her resilience, passion, and love for pickleball shine wherever she goes. She proudly represents both the sport and our club, always sharing her love and pride for the San Carlos Pickleball community—her home club.
Fitness Classes, Workshops & Lessons
Pickle Fit Classes
New This Year: Pickle Fit Classes! designed to improve your pickleball-specific fitness, focusing on strength, power, agility, and speed. With regular training, you can expect faster reaction time, better court coverage, increased endurance, and fewer aches and pains. These classes will help you improve your health, spend more time on the court, compete at a higher level, and enjoy the sport you love even more.
Class Schedule:
• Monday (8:00–9:00 am): Speed & Endurance
• Wednesday (8:00–9:00 am): Strength & Mobility
• Friday (8:00–9:00 am): Agility & Power
Pricing:
• Single class: $100 MXN
• 5-class pass: $450 MXN
• 10-class pass: $800 MXN

Pickleball Workshops
Workshops are in-depth, theme-based sessions designed to improve specific aspects of your game. Each workshop is 1.5 hours long and includes group discussion, customized drills, and a comprehensive handout covering all workshop content.
The workshop curriculum includes 14 different workshops across multiple streams, including court coverage, shot selection, and strategy. The January workshop schedule is shown in the image above.
Price: $350 MXN per person

Táctica Tuesday for the whole family
Táctica Tuesday offers the best weekly competition experience among friends, with fun and competitive games, featuring courts for all skill levels, in a family-friendly environment… and with the most spectacular sunsets!
Already over 800 players have been a part of Táctica’s history — let´s go for more!
Schedule: Every Tuesday at 7:00pm
Duration: Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours
Only at San Carlos Pickleball Club
Registration is required for all players, including kids and teens.
Costs:
Adults (Táctica Tuesday): $150 pesos
Táctica Teens: $100 pesos
Club members: $100 pesos

Are you Ready to Learn Pickleball? We are excited to welcome new players who join our all day membership and night events like Táctica Tuesday. To help everyone feel comfortable and fully understand the game, we offer beginner classes (in both Spanish and English):

Check out our weekly Event Calendar for January. As the open play starts to fill up, the groups will be adjusted.
Walk-in events:
- Open Play – Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 11:00am. Courts are divided into self-rated groups: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Paddle Stacking within each group. Free to members.
- Sorteo Sundays – Sundays at 8:00am (be there by 7:45am). First come – first served for all skills levels, limited to 70 people. Free to members.
- Hot Shots – Wednesday from 8:30am to 10:30am. Ladies Round Robin open to all skill levels. First come – first served; limited to 31 players. Free to members.
- Pickleball Pals – Mondays and Fridays at 8:30am. Mixed round robin.
Events that you need to Register for in advance:
- Táctica Tuesday (skill-based Round Robin) – 7:00pm (arrive by 6:45pm). Cost is 100 pesos for members and 150 pesos for non-members.
- Dinking Divas – Ladies Round Robin. 3.5 and above skill level. Free to members, but you need to register weekly on WhatsApp.
- AAA – Organized group for players Advanced players over 3.75 skill level. Ask Al Dadswell to be added to the WhatsApp group. Free to members.

Anytime a court isn’t reserved for scheduled play, it can be reserved for private play using Court Reserve.
